Yamaha L85 Stand for Yamaha P45 and P115 Digital Stage Pianos - Black
About this deal
If you prefer to practice in private or want to get a more detailed and accurate sound, you can always plug in a pair of headphones to the P-45’s 1/4″ stereo jack. You may wonder how it is possible to have 32, 64, or even 128 notes playing at the same time, if there are only 88 keys and we never play them all together. The Yamaha LP5A 3-pedal unit compatible with the L85 stand won’t work with the P45 because the piano doesn’t have a special pedal unit connector.
Slim and stylish with a depth of less than 30 cm, the P-45 requires very little space and, at only 11. If you are looking for an affordable entry level instrument for an aspiring pianist, however, then it is an excellent choice. The Casio PX-160 has double the amount of polyphony number (128) when compared with the Yamaha P45 (64).If you were to play an acoustic piano (traditional piano), you would notice that it takes more force to play the lower notes than it does to play the higher notes.
In a previous life, I worked in music retail, giving advice on all aspects of music creation, selling everything from digital pianos to electric guitars, entire PA systems to ukuleles. I would recommend getting the fitted stand though, we purchased a portable stand, but the fitted stand would give more knee room. This design enables the natural feel of the keyboard to gradually change as you go up the register, so it naturally feels heavier at the bass and lighter at the top, just like a real acoustic piano.A good pair of headphones is also needed if you want to fully utilize the benefit of a digital piano. Featuring our high quality full-length Graded Hammer Standard key action, the P-45B offers a piano-like touch and a superb range of sounds. I’m also speculating whether or not the “PHONES” (or “LINE OUT”) port can be used to connect to my laptop and if the recording will have a high enough quality through that.
