About this deal
Over the years, Lansinoh has developed and brought to market a full range of products developed for sustained breastmilk feeding – both at the breast and also through innovative breastmilk feeding equipment. We chose Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream as our best overall nipple cream because it’s really raved about, has natural ingredients, soothes and moisturises, and is hypoallergenic.
Many of our recommended creams do not need to be washed off before feeding, but bear in mind that if you use too much just before a feed your nipple may become too slippery and prevent your baby from latching on properly.Fragrance: Some of our recommended creams are heavily scented whilst others are completely fragrance-free. Recommended by 2 out of 3 mums, our nipple cream for breastfeeding is also used in many other ways and can comfort sensitive skin, nappy rash, itchy stretch marks, dry skin patches and can be used as a naturally moisturising lip balm. The Lansinoh brand originated circa 40 years ago, in Oregon 1984, by breastfeeding mum, Rasheda Hagen, who struggled with the painful side effects of breastfeeding including bleeding and cracked nipples.
Reviewers noted that the product did last a while due to its thicker consistency and intensive moisturising properties, so your money goes a long way.As mums, we’re often told that breastfeeding is the most natural thing in the world and whilst this may be true, natural is not necessarily synonymous with easy. I’m currently using the Mama Mio oil not the cream and it’s just amazing and definitely worth the money.
