Soap & Glory - The Glorious Five Gift Set
About this deal
If the pod is not your vibe, they do carry a soap bar that is vegan and made with mostly USDA organic-certified ingredients.
All you have to do is wet the zero waste dish brush and then gently rub the block with it in a circular motion to create the suds, then wash and rinse! They offer two to choose from, our top choice has to be the biodegradable dish soap that comes in a beeswax pod.
It's so good and made with plant-powered suds like saponified olive oil, and coconut oil, and infused with sweet orange and grapefruit oils to give off a beautiful, fresh scent. Oh, and they leave out everything we are trying to avoid, looking at you foaming agents, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, sulfates, parabens, and formaldehyde.
To get the best from this block soap, I recommend first scarping the dishes to remove all the excess food and grease. I always like to preface any zero waste article with a reminder that there is no such thing as zero waste — it's more along the line of low waste! Remember that many cleaning companies use greenwashing tactics to fool us into thinking the item is natural.
My goal is to empower and inspire you to make eco-conscious choices for a healthy life and a healthy planet. Full transparency…I don’t like the smell of peppermint but I was SO pleasantly surprised by the subtleness and effectiveness of this dish soap. Robyn and Monika have worked hard to create a safe and eco-friendly product that you can feel confident in especially if you’re cleaning with little ones.
Leave the brush on the soap block next to your kitchen sink, so you're always ready to scrub a few dishes. They do this by working with small, local, family-run businesses and developing close relationships with suppliers to enhance the local community. The bottom line is: that there are so many ways to reduce plastic in your home, and the kitchen is a great place to start.
