RISK®: Game of Thrones™ Edition Game escalates Risk, the classic game of strategic conquest, to an epic level of chaos and war in a battle for the Iron Throne. On one side of the board, the Iron Throne is the ultimate prize as up to seven players battle across Westeros. This expansion introduces the White Walkers as a new playable faction, that changes some of the rules of the game and adds a new area to the map; "Beyond the Wall".
Other additions include Maester cards offering battle boosts and Gold Dragon Coins which give the player extra wealth to spend on the pursuit of power. To stake your claim on the Iron Throne you must build up and reinforce your armies to bolster your defenses, invade those who oppose you and maneuver yourself in the crucible of battle and the poisonous nest of vipers that is politics. It’s important to note that there are two versions of Game of Thrones Risk: the Skirmish Edition (which we’re reviewing here), and the Deluxe Edition. This fully licensed version of RISK provides the excitement of Global Domination, classic RISK feeling and plenty of options to customize your RISK experience!
